Journal of Romance Studies
Information for Contributors
Two printed copies should be sent, together with a copy on disk (IBM compatible – no MAC disks please – and preferably in Word 6 or later) to the Managing Editor, Gill Rye. Please label the disk clearly, stating your name, filename, software used (e.g. Word 6) and operating system used (e.g. Windows 95).
Please also supply an abstract for your article (100-150 words) together with a number of key words for on-line use. You should at the same time submit a brief biographical note for the List of Contributors. You should also send a note of your contact details (including e-mail and mailing address) up to the planned date of publication. This is essential to ensure that we can get proofs to you for quick checking. If your plans change significantly and you are likely to be away, please inform Gill Rye as soon as possible. On acceptance of your article, you will be sent an Assignment of Copyright form to sign and return.
Proofs should be corrected and returned within one week of receipt. Major alterations to the text cannot be accepted at proof stage.
Please download the JRS Style Guide for referencing guidelines and further requirements for article submission.
